On this day, July 5, 1865, the @SecretService was established under @USTreasury to protect the integrity of our nation’s financial system.
Yesterday, they once again demonstrated their professionalism, safely evacuating attendees and welcoming everyone back for @POTUS' remarks and the fireworks.
