Native UTXOs on Ethereum. Payments should be one-shot objects, not permanent state. Bitcoin got this right. Ethereum can bring the same idea to payments: prove existence from history, keep only a spent bit in state, and reduce permanent state by ~99.8%. Check out the blog post for details.

📊 Bitcoin UTXO analysis signals the start of a broader capitulation phase, as the ratio of #UTXOs# spent at a loss has dropped to its lowest levels — corresponding to bear market phases — analyst @Darkfost_Coc points out. This is the first time this signal has triggered since the start of the correction in October 2025. The analyst notes that these periods "have always been profitable for long-term investors," as they correspond to the moment when the majority gives up and loses interest. Meanwhile, analyst @lukasz_wydra highlights that the bullish RSI divergence on the #Bitcoin# chart has now been confirmed — with the decline stalling exactly inside a key support zone while the expected panic failed to materialize.

Anatomy of a Simplicity UTXO. A high-level overview of how such UTXOs get created and spent. In a nutshell, it's just a fancy Taproot.
Near Brings More Privacy To Bitcoin Payments Unstoppable Wallet (@unstoppablebyhs) has integrated NEAR Intents’ (@near_intents) Confidential Execution for more private on-chain payments. Its new Private Send feature lets users send bitcoin:native without exposing their originating wallet UTXOs. The feature will also support ethereum:native, USDT, USDC and other eligible assets. Unstoppable says the system improves privacy without offering complete anonymity. Private Send is expected to launch with version 0.51 by the end of the week.

A normal Bitcoin UTXO is limited in what it can express. Bitcoin Script can enforce spending conditions, but it was not designed to maintain the flexible application state required by financial applications. Arch extends this model by creating Programmable UTXOs. Here’s how: → A Programmable UTXO combines a real Bitcoin UTXO with an Arch account containing application state and program logic. → Instead of representing only an amount of spendable BTC, the UTXO can now interact with applications built through the ArchVM. → That BTC could be used as collateral in a lending market, supplied as trading liquidity, or governed by another financial program. → Arch tracks the application state, executes the relevant instructions, and verifies the resulting state transition through its validator network. → When the underlying BTC needs to move, Arch validators sign the resulting Bitcoin transaction and settlement occurs on Bitcoin. The BTC is not recreated as an ERC-20 token or synthetic representation on another network. The foundation remains a real Bitcoin UTXO. Arch makes that UTXO programmable. Bitcoin created the UTXO. Arch turns it into programmable financial infrastructure.

110er mistake: making 110 temporary. that's an admission that 110 is defective as if deployed permanently it would break things and more likely permanently make unspendable some UTXOs. and prevent any further soft-forks.

110er mistake: disabling IF statements in script. does nothing useful to stop spam. and guarantees no ecosystem consensus for 110 as it breaks miniscript, is petty vandalism with no benefit, and actually makes some bitcoin UTXOs unspendable (temporarily and maybe permanently).

RGB Lightning Node v0.0.4 Released: Full UTXO Management Support — Control Panel: — API: — CLI: We are pleased to announce the release of RGB Lightning Node v0.0.4, introducing comprehensive UTXO management capabilities that provide users with granular control over their Bitcoin UTXOs for RGB protocol operations. This release focuses on UTXO lifecycle management — a critical infrastructure layer for efficient RGB asset issuance, transfer, and on-chain resource optimization. Key Features: • UTXO Overview — Monitor all UTXOs with real-time status tracking, linked RGB asset visibility, and available operation context. • Create UTXOs — Generate dedicated UTXOs purpose-built for RGB asset issuance, transfer, and management workflows. • Unlock UTXOs — Release reserved UTXOs and consolidate funds back into available wallet balance for flexible resource allocation. • Increase UTXO Capacity — Expand the funding capacity of existing UTXOs to support higher-throughput RGB asset transactions. Efficient UTXO management is foundational to scalable RGB protocol operations on the Lightning Network. This release enables developers and node operators to optimize their on-chain footprint while maintaining full control over asset-linked transaction outputs. Make Bitcoin Smart.

$LIGHT Airdrop Claiming — Phase I is now live. In this phase, eligibility includes $RGB holders and users who have created mainnet UTXOs and interacted with the RGB Faucet. The RGB Faucet—Bitlight Labs’ first interactive application on RGB mainnet—supported the protocol’s first million-scale stress test. As the first test asset on RGB, $RGB will continue to receive long-term airdrop incentives as the RGB protocol and the Bitlight ecosystem grow. It will also serve as a core asset across key initiatives, including (but not limited to) a decentralized RGB asset marketplace, RGB–Lightning integration, RGB–zk integration, and a Lightning Network–based stablecoin payments network. If you weren’t eligible in this phase, don’t be discouraged. Our commitment to the RGB protocol and the Bitlight ecosystem is long-term and unwavering. A total of 50.64% of $LIGHT has been allocated to the RGB protocol, the Bitlight ecosystem, and the community, to be released gradually as the ecosystem matures. We build in cycles, not weeks. The RGB protocol and the Bitlight ecosystem are at the very beginning of their journey; realizing a global stablecoin payment network will take the steady, collective effort of Bitlight Labs, our peers across the RGB ecosystem, and dedicated community builders and supporters. We’re here for the long haul—focused, patient, and hopeful. We’ll keep shipping, listening, and improving. Thank you for being early and for believing in what we’re building. Together, we’ll make the vision real. Make Bitcoin Smart.
