Virtue, concentration, and discernment are not included in the eightfold path. The eightfold path is included within them.
If Virtue is indeed a timeless measure on the balance scales of righteousness, then it is first calibrated by the standard weights of the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God (Jesus the Christ). If the beginning of Wisdom is the fear of the Lord, then our culture must reject its current tendency of embracing polytheism/paganism. There is only one Almighty God and He informs us He has a jealous nature. Thou shall have no other gods before me not only prohibits priority but also presence. If the once great western educational model initially sought “learning to think” as its primary objective through exploration of classic literature including Almighty God’s word, the Holy Bible, then shouldn’t we regain that embrace? There is only right and wrong, righteous and sinful, in Almighty God’s economy of Justice. Wrong and sin bring consequences while right and righteous bring reward. That is the decision point Liberty enables us to exercise. Virtue begotten of Almighty God’s wisdom, gained through study of His word, equips us to wisely exercise our Liberty. Where the spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty. Where Liberty is infringed the spirit arrives from the opposite direction, Satan. Christ wants to renew your mind from the death that sin and Satan has polluted it with. He, Jesus, desires you to choose Him in Liberty’s reward after an awakening to your need for His renewal (repentance). He, Jesus, died for your opportunity to do so and arose on the third day victorious over death, Hell, sin, and Satan. Jesus wants you to think and to continue to learn from Him in the renewal of our minds so that Liberty leading to reward may be exercised. This is the basis for innocent until proven guilty in American civil law concept. While lustful and murderous thoughts are sin in the spiritual/ conscience realm it is not until one’s Liberty exercised in word or action then harms or deprives another that civil (physical) law is broken. Every man will have his sins of thought and action assessed by the Supreme Judge of the world, Jesus Christ (the same appealed to in closing of our Declaration of Independence). Almighty God nor Constitution has granted civil law magistrates the authority to access (think 4th Amendment to US Constitution) nor assess a privacy without compelling evidence of crime committed spawned in such privacy. Wishing you possessed your neighbor’s chicken is in Almighty God’s law, in spirit / conscience, sin (covetous) but it must become actual chicken theft or attempt at such to become civil law crime. My point here is that Virtue requires thinking; Thinking balanced on the scales of Christ’s righteousness. His word IS to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. Only Almighty God’s word provides that Light and only that Light begets Wisdom. If Virtue and Wisdom are necessary to preserve Liberty, then it is best we return to an education model that pursues thinking as the objective over simply learning a set of multiple choice options offered us by a system that has long lost it’s Christ and Constitution bearing. First, must be a vigorous embrace of Liberty. That embrace must include He alone (Christ) whose presence brings that Liberty. Our Founders understood this. Second there must be a relentless defense of Constitution from a Christian worldview. Pagan ideologies are incongruent with our Constitution. Every attempt to introduce a pagan worldview (one other than Christian) is an attack upon our Nation’s foundation…and an attack on the souls of our neighbors. We must re-embrace a classical education model where thinking is the first objective. We must reject politicians who do not embrace Liberty nor a Christian worldview. And we must vacate church buildings where false prophets teach acceptance of anything other than Christ is Virtuous. We have the Liberty to Virtuously direct our Nation. We are properly equipped to choose when our minds are renewed by a Wisdom rooted in the fear of the Lord.

The three virtues of using Grok @Bot well: • Laziness: The quality that makes you go to great effort to reduce overall energy expenditure. It makes you question "how can a bot do this instead of me?" • Impatience: Instead of asking "should we do this?", you use @bot to build it yourself and share a PR or feature flag • Hubris: The quality that makes you own the outcome even when you didn't make it with your own hands

there’s no virtue in being optimistic when everything is going well. true optimism is tested when there’s no visible light at the end of the tunnel. if you don’t believe when no one else does, it probably never will.

The only virtue of America worth protecting, is liberty. It is a hard-fought, precious, and misunderstood civilizational ideal. It is not "equality under the law," nor "democracy," that we ought to hold as our American identity, for most modern states attempt these and America holds no special claim to them. Themes such as "diversity" or "the American dream" are consequences of liberty, not causes. Appealing to the consequence rather than the cause leads many toward all manner of obnoxious state interventions. To be "pro-America," properly defined, is to be only a stalwart defender of the ideal of liberty, understanding it as the apex principle of just civilization and the ultimate American innovation. If you're proud of the flag—or of any national symbol—it should be affection for this principle and little else. Yet not one in ten Americans understand it, and not one in a hundred advance it with any courage. The majority work actively or passively to undermine it wherever it suits them. This is why democracy itself is at least as much a danger as it is a blessing. Protectionism, patriotism, socialism... these cloud the minds of most of its citizenry, imagining the state as an instrument of communal advancement (the very affliction and mirage suffered by all other nations) rather than its only justified role as defender of its most important civic principle. To the few dozen of you out there fighting for liberty, thank you.
