Introducing the Content Machine! This was the first time I walked through the mechanics of our anti-slop content system & how we drive 10,000,000+ impressions at @tenex_labs with a marketing team of...2. Thanks to @clairevo for having me on her show to share. Full-writeup & interview below... What is the Content Machine? A directory of daisy-chained skills that turn what you already say into publish-ready content. This is the key way to avoid turning into a slop cannon. It mines the places you already talk (Slack, Notion, Gmail, Linear, GitHub) plus what the internet is saying, finds the ideas worth writing, interviews you to extract the story, drafts it, and edits it to a 9/10 bar before you post. What are the principles of this system? 1) It is not a "write me a post" prompt. The core belief baked into it: the raw material must come from you. 2) The machine never invents your voice and never fabricates your insight. It does the research, the structure, and the editing, so your time goes only to the part only you can do. It focuses the human on the first & final mile of the content process. How is it structured? A two-layer split between the process & the person - The process layer is generic and shared: the pipeline, the content-type specs, the copywriting references, the onboarding flow. That is what lives in git and what gets shipped to other people. - The personal layer is yours and never leaves your machine: content-machine.config.md, creators// (profile, style guide, lessons), projects/, published/, oracle-reports/. All gitignored, and the desktop build script refuses to package any of it. What is the 10-step pipeline? 1) Creator Select. Multi-creator by design. It figures out who this run is for and loads their profile, style guide, and content lessons. Everything downstream is scoped to that person. - Onboarding (first run only). Scaffolds the workspace, auto-creates your Notion Vault, connects your sources, and builds your voice guide one of three ways: import a guide you already have, feed it writing samples, or sit for a short voice interview. 2) The Oracle. Two idea engines running in parallel: - Oracle scans what you wrote in the last 7 days across Slack, Notion, Gmail, Linear, and Git, hunting for "spikes," moments where you naturally said something worth expanding. - The Internet Reader scans what the world is saying, pulled only from the source list in your profile (handles, labs, outlets, keyword watchlist), plus a social sweep across Reddit, X, YouTube, Hacker News, and more (thanks /last30days & @mvanhorn). - Every idea is scored 0 to 10 (POV strength 25%, story potential 25%, emotional intensity 20%, lesson/framework 20%, depth 10%). Everything qualifying gets written to The Vault, a Notion database that is the durable idea bank. 2.5) Research. Before you get interviewed, a research agent builds a sourced brief: - key facts with links - current developments - what has already been said in-market - contrarian angles - open questions only you can answer. 3) Interview Panel. Six interviewer personas (Ferriss, Rogan, Larry King, Stern, Barbaro, Barbara Walters) ask you one question at a time, each chasing a different dimension: tactics, story, core truth, the hidden thing, clarity, emotional depth. It pushes back on vague answers and will not advance until it has 2 to 3 specific stories with real details. 4) Production. Your interview becomes a raw markdown file: stories, core insights, quotable moments, the emotional anchor, surprising reveals, the "so what." Your exact words are preserved. This file is the source of truth for everything that follows. 5) Refinement. Now it drafts, and only now. It must read your style guide, your content lessons, and the spec for the chosen format (LinkedIn post, X thread, long post, playbook, podcast promo, reaction post, article, and so on). 6) Writer's Council. Six reviewers score the draft: Morgan Housel (will this matter in 10 years), Tim Urban (is it confusing), Shaan Puri (would I stop scrolling, plus three alternate hooks), Greg Isenberg (what can someone steal), David Perell (is it personal, observational, playful), and a Slop Detector hunting AI tells. Each gives what's working, what needs work, a fix, and a score. 7) Revision Loop. Under 9/10 goes back around. The smart part: fixes get sorted into editorial (the machine rewrites it itself) and information gaps (only you have the answer), and information gaps route back to the Interview Panel with targeted questions rather than letting the machine make something up. Max 3 editorial cycles. At 9/10 the piece becomes the anchor. 8) Repurposing Engine. One anchor fans out into 10+ derivatives: X article, LinkedIn article, short X posts, short LinkedIn posts, a playbook if there is a framework in it. Each one is written native to its platform with a fresh hook, not cross-posted, and each runs the full council and revision loop to 9/10 on its own. This is the multiplier. 9) Distribution (optional, off by default). UTM tagging, a scheduled publishing queue, CRM capture of every touchpoint, attribution reporting back to pipeline, and marking the Vault row as Published. 10) The Learning Loop, always running. After you approve a piece it diffs your first draft against the final, extracts the pattern, and asks you to confirm it. Confirmed lessons go into content-lessons.md and override the style guide. Once a lesson proves out across a few projects it graduates into the style guide itself. Your first drafts get better over time instead of you re-explaining preferences. ELEVENLABS EYES 2028 IPO AS ARR CLIMBS TOWARD $600M AI voice startup ElevenLabs has hired former Adyen CFO Ethan Tandowsky as it prepares for a possible public listing in 2028. The company says ARR is on track to reach about $600M, up from $350M at the end of last year, with more than half of sales now coming from large enterprise customers. ElevenLabs was valued at $11B in February after a $500M Sequoia-led round and has since raised additional capital from NVIDIA’s venture arm, BlackRock, Wellington and Santander. Grok can now handle more than 100 Tesla functions completely hands-free. Tesla owner @LifeMiddie tested 170 voice commands, and Grok successfully handled 116 of them simply by saying “Hey Grok” • Climate: Adjust temperatures, fan speed and airflow; control A/C, recirculation, Dog Mode, Camp Mode, Climate Keeper and Bioweapon Defense Mode. • Heating: Control front-seat heating and ventilation, plus the heated steering wheel. • Navigation: Find Superchargers, restaurants, gas stations, airports, bars and museums; navigate home or to work; avoid tolls and ferries; toggle HOV routes; stop navigation and set location-based reminders. • Vehicle controls: Open the glovebox and charge-port door; fold mirrors; control dome lights, Sentry Mode, Dashcam saves, Bluetooth and the rear camera. • Visibility: Control every wiper speed and activate front or rear defrost and defogging. • Media and phone: Make calls, search and play music, and switch between Spotify, TuneIn, Tidal, Bluetooth, USB and radio. • Apps and entertainment: Open Calendar, Browser, Energy and Phone; load websites, search the web, and launch YouTube, Netflix, Twitch, Theater, Arcade, Toybox and Tesla Tutorials. • Vehicle information: Check tire pressures and the odometer; open trip information, the owner’s manual, tutorials and release notes. • Settings: Open Autopilot, Charging, Controls, Display, Dynamics, Lights, Locks, Navigation, Safety, Service, Software and Trips menus. • It can even launch Rainbow Road. You have been given the same advice your whole life, and it is good advice. You cannot beat the market. Do not try. Buy a little of everything, hold it for 30 years, and do not flinch when it falls. It is true. It is also advice given, in part, by 535 people who quietly do not have to take it. In the last week of February 2020, you were told to stay calm. The market was sliding, the virus was still a rumor with a foreign name, and every steady voice said hold the line and think long term. Most of us did. We watched the retirement accounts fall and we held, because holding was the discipline and the discipline was right. That same week, senators of both parties who had sat in a closed briefing on the coming pandemic sold. Millions of dollars in stock, in the days before the drop. The Justice Department opened an investigation and closed it without a single charge. The rules held, because no one had broken them. It was not one strange month six years ago. Last year, 140 members of Congress made more than 14,000 trades worth about $720 million. They do not trade at random. The members who sit on the committees that write the defense budget trade defense contractors. The members who write Medicare and Medicaid policy trade the health insurers who live on those programs. The firms whose fortunes they shape are the firms they own. There is a law meant to stop this. It is called the STOCK Act, and when a member files a trade late, the penalty is $200. Not $200,000. $200, and even that is often waived. In all the years the law has existed, no member of Congress has ever been criminally prosecuted under it. I am not saying this to make you hate them. Hatred is cheap and it fixes nothing. I am saying it because of what we are usually handed to be angry about instead. We are pointed at the neighbor with the stimulus check, the family in line with an EBT card, the student asking to have a loan forgiven. We are taught to look sideways and down, at people who have less than we do, and to believe they are the reason the arithmetic no longer works. The edge that actually moved the money was never standing beside you in that line. It sat in a room you were not allowed to enter. Let me be careful, because this is the part that matters. There is nothing wrong with being rich. A person who starts a company, carries the risk, and builds and sells the thing is the country working as promised, and we should want more of them, not fewer. The objection here is narrow. It is a portfolio built out of a security clearance. An advantage that arrives with the seat instead of the work. We know it can be fixed, because it has been. When two Federal Reserve officials were found trading through the same 2020 crisis they were managing, they were gone within weeks, and the Fed barred its officials from trading individual stocks at all. An institution decided its credibility was worth more than its portfolios. Congress looked at the same conflict this month. The House passed a bill to ban the practice and gave it the name you wanted to hear. It lets every member keep the stock they already hold. It lets them keep buying more with the dividends. It exempts the presidency and the vice presidency. Half of Congress owns individual stock, and under this ban, half of Congress keeps it. Meanwhile the one retirement plan they manage on your behalf, the one you pay into with every paycheck, is set to fall short in 2032, 6 years from now, and to cut benefits by about 22 percent when it does. They have known for 30 years. They have not agreed on a repair. They have been more attentive to their own. They will hear the next briefing before you do. We can keep score of which party's list is longer. Or we can notice that both lists exist, and that the only person in this story who was told to hold was the one who could not afford to lose. He held. He was told that was the honest thing to do. It was.

Doctors said the quick arrival likely saved his life. • SpaceX - January 15, 2026 - Crew Dragon safely brought Crew-11 home early during NASA’s first medical evacuation from the International Space Station. • Grok - December 2025 - A Norwegian patient said Grok urged him to return to the ER for a CT scan, which found an appendix close to rupturing before surgery. • Neuralink - September 18, 2026 - Terry, an ALS patient, used Neuralink to speak in a reconstruction of his own voice and tell his wife, “I love you.” • Starlink - September 10, 2026 - During Hurricane Lowell in Kauai, Starlink provided 200+ kits to responders and free service to new and existing customers. • Tesla - April 2, 2024 - FSD drove MaxPaul Franklin 13 miles to a VA hospital after an insulin-pump failure caused a diabetic emergency and mild heart attack. • Starlink - June 5, 2026 - Starlink provided 150 kits to Africa CDC, helping teams detect Ebola cases faster and coordinate frontline operations in Ituri, DRC. • Starlink - June 24–28, 2026 - After Venezuela’s twin earthquakes, Starlink provided free service while 42 terminals helped people contact relatives and coordinate aid. • Tesla - February 19, 2026 - After Rishi Vohra passed out on a freeway, his Cybertruck slowed down, activated its hazards, pulled over. • Starlink - July 18, 2026 - A surgeon in Salvador remotely removed a kidney tumor from a patient 2,320 km away in Campo Grande during the Americas’ first Starlink-enabled telesurgery. • Neuralink - 2024–2026 - Alex designs 3D CAD parts and plays games; Brad types, edits videos and uses his cloned voice; Nick controls a robotic arm to feed himself; Mike continues working; RJ and Lee control phones, computers and TVs through thought. And these are only a few examples. There are many, many more cases like these.

Silence is not neutrality when someone else is paying the price. @jordanbpeterson (I hope he is having a great recovery!) had this great talk - "What Happens When Good Men Say Nothing". The deepest message is that when our conscience tells us something is wrong, silence is itself a decision. Dr. Peterson retells the story of Jonah: one man sees a corrupt city heading toward destruction, but runs away because speaking seems dangerous, futile and inconvenient. Why should one person take the risk when everyone else is silent? But that is precisely how a society begins to lose its moral foundations: everyone waits for someone else to speak. History rarely begins with an entire population suddenly becoming evil. It begins when lies become normal, cruelty becomes someone else’s problem, and good people learn to avert their eyes. The Holocaust required perpetrators—but it was also enabled by institutions, professionals, officials and ordinary people who obeyed, benefited or looked away. During Mao’s Great Leap Forward, officials fabricated harvest figures while those who challenged disastrous policies were punished. Once truth became dangerous, lies traveled upward, orders traveled downward, and millions of ordinary people paid the price. In Rwanda, the world received warnings, yet governments and international institutions failed to act with the urgency required. Silence did not create the killers—but it gave the killers time and space. This is also why I chose to speak up for Wang Wang and her puppies. They could not demand justice for themselves. Speaking for them was not “just about dogs.” It was about whether cruelty toward the voiceless is tolerated, whether children are taught empathy and respect for life, and what kind of society we are becoming. It is why we must speak for women whose suffering is hidden behind family honor or institutional convenience. It is why we must resist education becoming indoctrination—when children are taught whom to hate and what to repeat before they are taught how to think. And it is why the history of totalitarian communism matters. When one ideology declares itself infallible, truth becomes whatever serves the Party, conscience becomes disobedience, and human beings become expendable instruments of a supposedly glorious future. But no movement—left or right—is immune when it places ideology above humanity and punishes those who question it. Speaking up does not mean spreading rumors, dehumanizing opponents or turning every disagreement into a moral war. Moral courage must be accompanied by evidence, humility and the willingness to correct ourselves. Courage without truth can become fanaticism. But truth without courage remains private knowledg, which protects no victim. I do not speak because I am always right. I speak because the voiceless cannot always wait for the perfect spokesperson, the perfect moment or unanimous approval. Not everyone living under repression can safely become a martyr. The greater responsibility belongs to those of us who have more freedom, security, reach and voice. Martin Luther King Jr. warned about “the appalling silence of the good people.” History’s darkest chapters were written by those who committed evil - but too often, the pages were left open by those who recognized it and said nothing. One person may not be able to stop every injustice. But every great moral change began when someone decided that silence was no longer acceptable. You may call it AI slop, but if it's that good, even Hollywood is behind! Seedance 2.5 at 1080p Prompt; Create a highly realistic 30-second Seedance 2.5 video that looks like genuine early-2000s Korean home-video footage accidentally preserved on an old MiniDV camcorder. The footage should feel imperfect, nostalgic and spontaneous rather than cinematic or AI-generated. MAIN SUBJECT: A young Korean woman in her early 20s with a consistent natural identity throughout the entire video. She has messy black hair loosely tied back, realistic skin texture, minimal makeup and relaxed everyday expressions. She wears a fitted sleeveless crop top with high-waisted thigh-high shorts, simple worn sneakers and a small necklace. She wipes her hands on a small towel, moves a bucket aside with her foot and briefly looks toward the house as if someone called her. Keep everything casual and unperformed. SCENE 3 — LEAVING THE HOUSE | 13–18 SEC She picks up a small reusable shopping bag and walks through the front gate. The camera follows slightly too late, briefly losing her behind the gate before catching up. Autofocus hunts between nearby leaves and her face before locking onto her again. This imperfect focus behavior should feel genuinely captured by an old consumer camcorder. SCENE 4 — WALKING OUTSIDE | 18–24 SEC She walks down the residential lane carrying the bag. Show ordinary early-2000s Korean neighborhood life around her: bicycles, laundry hanging from balconies, children in the distance, an elderly neighbor sweeping, scooters passing occasionally and sunlight flickering through trees. She walks naturally without acknowledging the camera. SCENE 5 — SMALL ERRAND | 24–30 SEC She reaches a small outdoor utility area, places the bag down and briefly picks up something she needs — such as a folded cloth, empty container or household item. She turns and starts walking back toward the neighborhood. End abruptly with the camcorder operator slightly zooming in too late as she walks away, followed by a natural cut. CAMCORDER AESTHETIC: Authentic early-2000s MiniDV/consumer camcorder footage. Include: - 4:3 home-video framing - slight handheld shake - imperfect framing - autofocus hunting - occasional exposure pumping - mild blown highlights - soft digital sharpness - interlaced-looking motion characteristics - subtle motion blur - low dynamic range - faded, slightly warm colors - realistic digital noise - tiny compression artifacts - occasional accidental micro-zoom - imperfect white balance - slight lens flare when sunlight hits the lens - natural camera operator mistakes Do NOT make the footage excessively degraded. It should still be clear enough to see her face and environment. REALISM: The most important goal is BELIEVABILITY. OVERALL FEEL: It should feel like someone found an old Korean family camcorder tape from around 2002–2005 and played back an ordinary afternoon that nobody intended to turn into a film. The ordinary nature of the activities should make the footage feel strangely authentic and nostalgic, while the woman's natural presence and the imperfect camera behavior make it visually engaging enough to feel like a real viral rediscovered home-video clip. TECHNICAL: 30 seconds, Seedance 2.5, 4:3 aspect ratio, early-2000s MiniDV aesthetic, photorealistic humans, physically accurate motion, consistent character identity, realistic Korean residential environment, authentic consumer-camcorder imperfections, no AI artifacts, no modern cinematic look.
