Wildfires continued to rage across the southwest Gironde region in France on Tuesday. Firefighters and local civilians battled the flames that have already displaced more than 200,000 people. CNN’s Nada Bashir reports. Track the fires:

Wildfires swept across Sicily on Wednesday, forcing evacuations as firefighters battled the flames. Other parts of Europe are also facing wildfires fueled by hot, dry conditions that scientists say are being worsened by climate change.
