A massive landspout tears through wildfire-scorched land in New Mexico as crews battle a blaze that burned 23,000 acres. Dubbed the “Devil’s Dust Devil,” the towering vortex spun across the charred landscape as authorities warn of thunderstorms that could bring further wildfire threats to the area.

NEW: @CAGovernor Gavin Newsom will be proposing a new $100 million fund to help wildfire victims afford loans to rebuild their homes under a plan to be released Thursday. “We have been on the ground in L.A. since Day One of recovery from these fires, and we aren’t turning our backs now. This community deserves continued support to help them get back on their feet, and rebuild their homes and their lives.”
