Work your way to Heaven? No number of posts on X, no podcasts, no good deeds – none of that will ever get me or you to heaven! That’s the best news any of us could ever hear! If we could earn Heaven, if we could work our way in, if we could be “good enough” - then Jesus died for nothing. Why would the Son of God endure the cross – the nails, the humiliation, the wrath of God – if we could just behave our way into paradise?! Jesus said it Himself: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” - Not through works. - Not through good intentions. - Not through self-improvement and certainly not through being a good person. - Only through Him. Alone. Does this mean that we can live however we want? No, that's not the way to live. Jesus saved you by grace, but that grace transforms you. A saved life is a changed life, a transformed life. When that Holy Spirit lives in you, obedience becomes a Fruit – not the Prices for salvation. We don’t obey to earn God’s love - but out of love. “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Real love for Jesus is shown by obeying what he taught, not just by feelings or words. Jesus said this to his disciples the night before he died. Obedience is the evidence of love; it is also the condition for the promise that follows - that he would send the Holy Spirit to be with them. The “commandments” include his whole teaching, especially the command to love one another. ”Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus" This acknowledges that we, as believers are "works in progress," and assures they we in good hands. Every other religion says, work your way up to God. Christianity says God came down to you; that’s the difference. That’s the hope. Your good deeds won’t get you into Heaven. And our works won't get us anywhere. Jesus isn’t asking for your performance, He’s asking for your heart.

Work-life balance to me is happiness on all equations. It's not about clocking hours at home vs. the office. It’s about being present wherever you are. There’s no single blueprint. No one-size-fits-all. And that’s the point. Your version of balance is yours to define — as long as it’s rooted in intent. And reminder 🚨… you can change your “work life balance” every year based on the realities of your life. It’s your life .. not anyone else’s. ❤️❤️❤️ Give yourself some Grace! You’re trying !!!

Work on your Introduction This gem from @george__mack is phenomenal advice for EVERYONE. Polishing your intro and making yourself into a "simple API" (!) is a great way to engineer luck. "Work on your introduction - This could be the least British advice I will ever give. I can hear my ancestors spinning in their graves at the thought of what I’m about to say. In British culture, we’re taught to play down everything that we do. “I just do marketing stuff”. The problem with this is that people you meet don’t understand what you do or how they can help you. When you have a clear introduction that describes what you do: “I create Super Bowl-level commercials for fintech companies on social media”, they can now realise ways they can help you: “Oh, my friend Barry is the marketing director at Amex. Let me introduce you!”. Being a great luck engineer is turning yourself into a simple API that people can connect into."
