Microsoft offered Yahoo $44.6 billion for their entire company in 2008, but Yahoo thought it wasn't enough money.
Yahoo ended up selling to Verizon for $4.83 billion in 2016.
Cleveland Fed President Beth Hammack tells Yahoo Finance that the central bank needs to raise rates by more than 25 basis points, and that it's better to get an early start on that to avoid having to make bigger adjustments later.
