Bankless Co-Founder David Hoffman Faced Controversy After Selling ETH, Then Rotated Into LIT and ZEC, Which Gained Up to 369% DeFi researcher Ignas said that LIT and ZEC were among the best-performing assets after Bankless co-founder David Hoffman publicly sold ETH in May and rotated into LIT, ZEC, NEAR, and VVV. Since around the time of Hoffman’s ETH sale, LIT, ZEC, and NEAR have gained approximately 369%, 110%, and 54%, respectively, while ETH rose about 8% and VVV fell about 6%.

I asked Claude to give a report card on the Bankless thesis six years later. We started March 2020 during covid - core ideas were cemented in those first 10 episodes. It gave us an A- overall with a B on the ETH bet. Said we overindexed on no banks, blind spot on mult-chain, and too bullish ETH the asset. I'll take the A- from Claude, but i think i'd give us a B. B for Bankless.
