For the same reason most people in history have chosen to live in bondage. Freedom requires responsibility, and most people don’t want it. We are slipping into bondage, losing control of everything we hold sacred. The world is slipping into global tyranny. The battle of light and dark is happening around us now. We are in biblical times, but the fight isn’t in some far distant place-it’s here in our backyard where we can see it and play a role. These are the last days, and we were not sent to live lives of quiet despair and futility. We were meant to stand, to make a difference, to live a life worth living. It means not being understood. It means paying a price. How can we expect to live in a world ruled by evil and fit in and be accepted? The battle is raging. God has preserved witnesses of the depths of the darkness. Anyone with an open heart can see the sincerity of these earth angels and the purity of their motives. Most will shun them because they don’t want to face what it means. But make no mistake, the line is in the sand. The battle is real and each of us will be held accountable before our Maker for where we stood.
