Melbourne is so cool. There are many open laptop-friendly space that also have food and coffee with a GREAT VIEW around the city. For example, this is a space from the Melbourne Central mall. Many people with laptops are working here. A new thing I learned is that if you want to find laptop-friendly cafes, look into the ground level of big office buildings. They often have open space and you can sit there all day with outlets, wifi, coffee and sometimes even a food court. I wish this is more popular in Europe, or even cities like Sydney.
