MrBeast updated the thumbnail of a YouTube video he posted months ago to feature the flying Tesla Roadster. This guy wants to get his hands on the Roadster for a video so badly! 😂

MrBeast says choosing the right people around you was a major factor in his rise, estimating he’d have “80 million less subscribers” if he hadn’t been strategic about who he spent time with. (Via @StartupWisdom_, Original source: @lexfridman)

MrBeast has a genius running his company. I have me. I was watching Shark Tank, and MrBeast was on there with his new CEO. The guy is an operational genius. And I thought, sure would be nice if I had an operator who was brilliant, running alongside me, keeping their eyes on the prize. Because I'm producing three shows while I'm trying to get 3,000 people to my conference. My team is working hard. But nobody is telling them when their focus might be off, because I'm generally not available. And here's the trap. I want to do all the work. So I asked my coach, Michael King: do I need someone alongside me? He said I'm the gas that keeps this thing moving. "But you're also the ceiling." Ouch. A really good operator costs a lot of money. Right now I don't have it. Then something clicked. I trained an AI skill to produce, edit and schedule these shows. When I tell it it made a mistake, it updates itself so it never happens again. If I can do that in a domain where I'm not an expert, who's to say I can't do it in a bigger one? My coach got there first: "I don't think that we need a human on this." I'm very intrigued. We'll see where this goes. Would you trust AI as your operator? Reply "Yes," or tell me why not 👇 Press Start: The Road to 3,000. #SocialMediaExaminer# #SMMW27# #AIinBusiness# #FounderLife#

MrBeast used Starlink in his latest video from the middle of the Amazon rainforest to communicate with teams thousands of miles away in Antarctica and the Peruvian desert....an insane real-world showcase of Starlink connecting some of the most remote places on Earth

MrBeast, whose YouTube channel recently hit 500M subs, will feature Gemini, Google Health, and the Fitbit Air in his videos as part of a multi-year Google deal (Stevie Bonifield / The Verge) (Visit Techmeme dot com for the link and full context!)

MrBeast discovered a YouTuber named Mogswamp, who spent 15 years building an incredible Minecraft survival world that he hopes to preserve and pass down through generations of his family, allowing them to continue building upon his legacy

MrBeast says once enough airlines offer Starlink, he’ll only book those flights: “Extra layover? Don’t care—there’s Starlink. I’ll sit anywhere for it. Starlink is amazing.” He adds: “Most people haven’t used it, but in Antarctica it was our only signal. On a four-hour drive through rural Africa, we mounted Starlink on the car and had perfect connectivity the whole time.” On SpaceX: “What Elon Musk is doing will fundamentally advance humanity in unimaginable ways. Someone will go to Mars in our lifetime—I truly believe it.”
