Launch week and the update is a credit sheet. Sothis coming back was the only line that changed how the game reads.

Nintendo is doing something most publishers would avoid: releasing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake two weeks before GTA 6. The original and the 3D remake sold about 6.5 million copies each, but Zelda is far bigger today, Breath of the Wild has passed 34 million sales, Tears of the Kingdom is approaching 23 million. The Zelda Nintendo Direct got 2.1 million peak viewers more than Gamescom Opening Night Live and over twice a PlayStation State of Play, the remake trailer hit 55 million views in under a day. Nintendo has won a court case in the Netherlands over Switch piracy devices, the District Court of The Hague ruled that selling devices that bypass the Switch’s security is illegal. The case mentioned MIG Switch Cards and MIG Switch Dumpers, devices that can be used to bypass the console’s security to play pirated games. The seller was using websites to sell the devices to customers in Europe that were mainly shipped from Asia. The court has now ordered the seller to stop selling the MIG Switch devices and other products that are made to bypass Nintendo’s security or an army of lawyers will sue them for life Nintendo has been fighting these products for years, the company also won a similar case in the Netherlands in 2010 against R4 cards for the Nintendo DS.

Nintendo just released Switch 2 system update 23.0.0, and there are some pretty useful changes. The biggest one is VRR support in TV mode. If your TV and game support VRR, the Switch 2 can now adjust the refresh rate to make gameplay look smoother. Other changes include: -Full data transfer between two Switch 2 consoles -Improvements to GameChat -Mii sharing with QR codes -More TV and video output information Improvements to Handheld Mode Boost -Brazilian Portuguese support for some accessibility features -Various fixes and stability improvements VRR is definitely the biggest feature, especially if you have a good TV that supports it, you’ll notice how much smoother games run now, this should have launched with the console

Nintendo briefly listed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on the Australian eShop for A$94.95, around US$60. Nintendo has since removed the listing, so it is still unknown whether A$94.95 was the intended price or an incorrect early placeholder.
