A gentle reminder that 🌽 is performance art. Like any other form of entertainment, it’s intentionally heightened and doesn’t always reflect what someone enjoys in their personal life. Watching my work gives you a glimpse into a role I play—not necessarily my authentic preferences outside of that context. One of my favorite parts of meeting someone is discovering what we genuinely enjoy together, rather than assuming it’s the same as what you’ve seen on screen.

A drag show reportedly turned the assassination of Charlie Kirk into entertainment — complete with theatrical blood effects and a staged reenactment set to music. Political violence isn’t a punchline. Murder isn’t performance art. And celebrating the killing of someone because you despised his politics is absolutely sick. What makes it even more disturbing? Families are bringing children to shows like this. You don’t have to agree with Charlie Kirk. You don’t even have to like him. But when the assassination of a political opponent becomes something to cheer, laugh at, and reenact for entertainment, we’ve crossed a very dark line.

My take on the Arday debacle. Elevator pitch version: 1) Arday is typical of a thriving alternate-universe academia elevating performance art over curiosity; 2) the "anti-racist" people who supported him are either bigots or caught up in recreational tribalism.
