🚨 NEWS: Raymond James kept its Strong Buy rating and $800 price target on SpaceX after Starship Flight 13 The firm said the flight reduced execution risk by successfully testing key V3 upgrades, including Starlink V3 deployment, an in-space Raptor relight, strong heatshield performance, and an intact splashdown. Next up: the first attempt to catch Ship with the launch tower. Earnings are just 10 days away. $SPCX

At the conclusion of our longest test campaign, totaling 2033 seconds of run time, E-2 demonstrated a rapid relight test fire. This test consisted of a 212-second burn with a nominal shutdown, followed by an 8-second pause and a successful engine relight. This sequence simulates a first stage flight profile followed by the brief coast period that would occur between main engine cutoff and the burn required to return the stage for landing. This milestone represents a key step toward demonstrating rapid reusability, marking a fitting conclusion to a remarkable test campaign.  E-2 was designed for rapid reuse, which is an essential capability for the future of spaceflight.  We will continue advancing and validating this capability in future testing.

Twenty successful engine starts, totaling 2033 seconds of cumulative run time, were completed on the latest workhorse E-2 engine sample. This breakthrough test campaign concluded with a rapid relight demonstration, validating capabilities essential for reusability.  A brand-new engine sample has now been manufactured and is scheduled to begin testing early next week. E-2 continues to be pushed through its paces to ensure it will be fully prepared for future spaceflight missions, delivering high performance propulsion at low cost.   Propellants: LOX/Kerosene Thrust: 22k lbf (10 tf) Isp Sea Level: 290 s Isp Vacuum: 327 s Isp Vac Version: 365 s Cycle: Ox-Rich Staged Combustion

We're getting very close to Starship Flight 14 and this is going to be something very special For the first time, SpaceX plans to catch Starship itself with Mechazilla chopsticks Super Heavy has already been successfully caught 3 times Now it's Starship's turn... Flight 13 ended with such a precise soft landing that Elon said Starship would have been caught by the tower arms if SpaceX had attempted it And this comes right as Starlink V3 moves from testing toward operational deployment Flight 13 already proved the architecture by successfully deploying 20 Starlink V3 satellites V3 is an absolute monster: • ~1 Tbps downlink capacity PER satellite • ~10X the downlink capacity of V2 • Up to 60 V3 satellites on a single Starship • ~60 Tbps of new capacity from ONE launch • 20X+ more Starlink downlink capacity deployed per launch vs Falcon 9 SpaceX spent the previous flights proving the pieces needed to get here: Raptor 3, the heat shield, reentry, in-space engine relight, payload deployment and precise landing Flight 14 brings it all together • Attempt to catch Starship • Deploy V3 into orbit • Move Starship from an experimental vehicle toward a fully and rapidly reusable transportation system This is where Starship starts becoming the fully reusable transportation system SpaceX designed it to be

With newly added Gaussian splat tools like TripoSplat image-to-splat, @OTOY Studio makes it possible to rapidly turn a single image into a real-time volumetric 3D asset and carry it into a broader production workflow. Here I generated a sand castle splat in OTOY Studio, brought it into @SplatPaintApp for real-time procedural FX, imported it into Cinema 4D to build an X-Particles system, and then exported the animated splat sequence into Octane Standalone for final relighting and rendering. Image → splat → real-time FX → X-Particles → animated splat sequence → Octane render. The full animation can seamlessly be sent to @rendernetwork for scalable rendering without changing the core workflow. Rapid iteration, real-time creative control, and a direct path into production VFX. Explore the tools at:
