She started uploading songs to SoundCloud at 13, writing and recording in her bedroom with no one paying attention. Gracie Abrams is the daughter of legendary director J.J. Abrams — the man behind Star Wars, Mission Impossible, and Lost. But for years, she built her own name from scratch, playing small shows and releasing music independently long before anyone connected the dots on whose daughter she was. She signed to Interscope Records in 2019 and released her debut single "Mean It" the same year. Her early EPs slowly built a devoted following, drawn to her hushed vocals and confessional songwriting. Then came 2023's Good Riddance, her debut album — and everything changed. She joined Taylor Swift's Eras Tour as an opening act, sold out her own headlining shows across North America, and topped Billboard's Emerging Artists chart. By early 2024, the girl who once uploaded songs to SoundCloud alone in her room had a Best New Artist Grammy nomination — standing alongside artists like Ice Spice, Noah Kahan, and Jelly Roll. Ten years. Bedroom to Grammy stage.

I gave my @Muse agent "Carl" access to my @SoundCloud account, and it reviewed my history and built this playlist for me. Here's how to do it securely yourself: 1) Go to settings 2) Go to Secure Store 3) Enter your Soundcloud credentials (really any credentials you want to save) 4) Then tell your agent to create a playlist you'd like. 5) Then tell your agent to update the playlist with new tracks daily. You now have a personal DJ 🎧
