DeFi has historically been hamstrung by only having access to a tiny set of quality assets. Besides a few majors and stables, pretty much every other on-chain asset has a crazy drag on it, maybe -30%/yr.
Now we are getting high quality representations of high quality assets on-chain. The case for permissionless innovation over a diverse asset layer has never been stronger.
