Had to run this one through ChatGPT for the ELI5, bullish! robinhood:0xdee52f2ab639b6942b0d0f0565400b93b7a0fbe5 Harmonic basically built a prediction market for Robinhood Chain where nobody decides the outcome. You pick a market like: Will $AAPL be higher or lower in 1 hour? At lock, Harmonic records the exact Chainlink price feed round. At close, it reads Chainlink again. Higher print = Higher wins. Lower print = Lower wins. Same print = market voids and everyone gets their stake back. The key is that both Chainlink round IDs are recorded, so anyone can independently verify the result onchain. There is no house setting odds or taking the other side either. Higher bettors are pooled against Lower bettors, and the losing side is distributed to the winners proportionally. Harmonic only takes 2% of the profit, not the original stake. It works across 40 Chainlink-fed markets on Robinhood Chain, including BTC, ETH, AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, SPY, QQQ, gold, silver and more, with 1-hour, daily and weekly markets. Simple way to think about it: Prediction markets for crypto and tokenized stocks, settled automatically by Chainlink instead of a human, committee, or screenshot.

𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗖 𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧: 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧 Every number below is read from the desk’s own record and served at The desk is at 𝟬𝟭. 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 Will the price be higher or lower than it is now? Every trader asks it every day, and the places that take the question settle it by committee, by a screenshot, or by a price nobody else can check. Robinhood Chain adopted Chainlink at mainnet. Every crypto pair on it and every Robinhood stock token with a feed has a Data Feed: a contract anybody can read, that publishes a new round each time the price moves half a percent or a day has passed. Each round carries the price and the second it landed, and every round ever published stays readable by its ID. So the question can settle by proof. At the LOCK the desk writes down the feed’s print. At the CLOSE it reads the feed again. Higher wins, lower wins, or the two prints are equal and the question is void. Both round IDs are on the record. Anyone with a node asks the same contract for the same rounds and gets the same answer. Nobody is asked. 𝟬𝟮. 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗜𝗡 The desk asks its question on every USD price feed Chainlink runs on Robinhood Chain: the crypto pairs and the Robinhood stock tokens. Apple, NVIDIA, Tesla, SpaceX, Meta, Amazon, Alphabet, Microsoft, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 trusts, the gold and silver trusts, and the rest. → 53 USD price feeds on the chain, 40 take questions: 4 crypto pairs (BTC, ETH, LINK, ENA) and 36 stock tokens → 13 feeds shown and never asked: the dollar pegs and the wrapped coins, whose question would only ever void → 195 tokens on Robinhood’s registry, 159 with no Chainlink feed on this chain yet → every one of the 195 is on the tab with its contract and its multiplier, and the 159 say in plain words that no feed runs on them yet Chainlink’s directory for the chain is the source of truth and the desk reads it again every day, so a feed that appears takes questions without a deploy. Before shipping, the desk walked the chain’s own logs for the week and found exactly those token feeds publishing, and no others. 𝟬𝟯. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗡’𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗜𝗦 A Robinhood stock token’s feed is the token’s price: the share price times the multiplier the token contract carries. Dividends are reinvested into the multiplier, so the feed tracks the total return and stays continuous through a split. The desk reads the feed as published and never applies the multiplier itself; the tab shows it beside the contract so you can see it. → AAPL multiplier 1.000566, NVDA 1.000775, SPY 1.001718, MSFT 1.000413, META 1.000541 → TSLA, AMZN, SPCX, GLD and SLV at 1.000000 The stock feeds print 24/5 and hold from Friday 20:00 to Sunday 20:00 New York time. No question is opened whose lock and close both fall inside that hold, so nothing can settle on one held print. The gold trust’s feed prints around the clock and is exempt. If the issuer pauses a token’s oracle around a corporate action, a lock read while paused says so on the record, and a close read while paused settles void with every stake back. 𝟬𝟰. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 Three clocks, two shapes, on every feed. → the hour: locks at the top of every hour, closes an hour later → the day: locks 00:00 UTC, closes 24 hours later → the week: locks Monday 00:00 UTC, closes the Monday after → stakes are taken from one lock to the next and close at the lock The first shape: higher or lower than the print at the lock. The strike is whatever the feed prints at that second. Nobody knows it ahead of anybody else, including the desk. The second shape: above or below a fixed strike. Every question opens with a ladder of three, set from the print at the open: the money rounded to a clean tick, one step above and one below. A quarter percent for the hour, one percent for the day, three for the week. Each strike is its own pool. 𝟬𝟱. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢 𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗘 On where Apple or Bitcoin closes tomorrow the house knows nothing you do not, so it holds no view, and the only book with no view in it is the one where the odds are whatever the two sides put up. → higher is pooled against lower → at the close the losing pool is shared among the winners in proportion to what each staked → the house quotes nothing, holds nothing, and cannot lose a wei to an outcome → no ETH of the house’s own stands behind any question The odds you see are the crowd’s and they move until the lock. The payout you get is the pool’s and it is fixed at the close. 𝟬𝟲. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗔𝗕 Pick a token by name or from the tiles. One plate: what the feed prints and how long ago, where the running questions locked and how far the feed has moved, the two pools as a beam that leans toward the heavier side, the ladder of three strikes, the clocks to the lock and the close. One card: the feed’s proxy contract and its terms, the token’s contract, its multiplier and ISIN, and the words that reach it from X or Telegram. A link opens straight on a token: 𝟬𝟳. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗦 → two percent of a winner’s win, carved from the win alone, never from a stake, to the operations wallet → a loser pays nothing beyond the stake → a void question, two equal prints or one side empty, costs nothing: every stake goes back whole → the smallest stake is 0.0002 ETH; one wallet may put at most 0.5 ETH on one question, on one side 𝟬𝟴. 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗜𝗧 A stake can go to zero in full. A feed publishes a new round on a half-percent move or a day’s heartbeat, so a still hour can close on the very print it locked at, and the question is then void rather than won. A question nobody takes the other side of is void too. A lopsided pool pays the popular side very little. The stock feeds hold over the weekend, so a stock question on a Saturday does not exist. And 159 of the registry’s tokens have no feed, so no question is asked on them, whatever the app shows for them. The desk holds no view on where any price goes. It never will. 𝟬𝟵. 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗦 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗗𝗢 Four rules of the desk are in the bank, checked at every boot and queued to the same prover the rest of the machine uses: → settlement conserves the pot: every wei staked is paid to a winner, taken as the fee, or left as rounding dust smaller than the number of winners; a winner is paid at least the stake back; the fee is at most a twentieth of the win → every stake is paid under exactly one outcome, and a void returns every stake whole → the print at an instant is the latest round not after it, so a round published later can never move a settled answer → a ladder is whole ticks, symmetric about the money, its step never under a tick And the second source. Chainlink’s Data Streams sign a report every second. With a credential the desk settles on the report standing at the instant and keeps the whole signed report on the question, so anyone can hand it to the verifier contract on this chain and get the same answer back. Without one it settles on the Data Feed round, and every question says which it settled on. 𝟭𝟬.
