A guy named Trey who works in "alternative investments" at a wealth management firm in Charlotte just told his client, a 67-year-old retired orthodontist, that Bitcoin is "too speculative" and put him into a 6% private credit fund that lends to regional shopping malls.
Bitcoin is under $80,000.
Trey is the reason.
