Crypto scammers picked the wrong exchange
OKX (
@okx) reports its systems protected over $1.1B in customer assets across more than half a million users from January through June, with its fraud team stopping $26.3M in scam losses before funds ever left accounts. Nearly 49,000 customers were flagged through AI detection catching compromised devices and social engineering in real time.
The exchange wants crypto security judged by banking standards, and users can now require facial verification on large withdrawals, set nighttime withdrawal locks, or put new addresses on a 24-hour hold before use.
