Kansas City is not getting a team. Not now, not in whenever the next expansion after Seattle/Vegas is.
Bill Simmons on cities that could be NBA expansion/relocation spots:
“Kansas City is a bigger factor than people think. They just had the World Cup. That city is built for big events now. They had basketball before. I think Nashville is possible. I wouldn’t rule out St. Louis.”
