A large number of Khalistanis reside in Auckland, New Zealand. They had obtained permission for a religious gathering (kirtan), but during the gathering, they started chanting pro Khalistan and anti-India slogans such as "Modi, may you die," and "Modi, your grave will be dug."
Following this, thousands of local New Zealand youth, led by Destiny Church leader Brian Tamaki, arrived. They performed their traditional Haka dance and stopped the procession of the Khalistan supporters. Their shirts bore the message: "If you want to live in New Zealand, you must abide by its laws."
The New Zealanders then said, "If you are living in New Zealand, don't ruin our country like Canada. If you want to demand Khalistan, go to India. Go to India and demand Khalistan there, not here in New Zealand.
You cannot conduct such movements here. You cannot engage in gang warfare here. You cannot wish for Modi's death here."
