The 44th Yushu Horse Racing Festival kicked off in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province, bringing together riders from across the region to showcase their skills and celebrate a shared cultural heritage.
Beyond the thrilling races and traditional performances, the festival has become a vibrant gathering where people of different ethnic groups join in the celebrations, cheering for the riders and sharing moments of connection.
Recognized as a national-level intangible cultural heritage item in 2008, the Yushu Horse Racing Festival continues to preserve Tibetan traditions while serving as a platform for cultural exchange, tourism and community development. #
