Whatever rights the Israelis get to claim for Jews in Israel, Americans should get to claim for Americans in America. The days of Conservative adopting blatant “blood and soil” rhetoric for one particular ethnic group on the other side of the world while simultaneously decrying “identity politics” as a “Leftist collectivist ideology” are over.

Stop arguing with Leftists. Nothing good ever comes from it because these people aren’t interested in having a good faith conversation. We had a guy who wanted to argue with Leftists. They murdered him in the midst of one such argument, then celebrated his death after the fact. Even other Leftists who knew him personally mocked his murder. Debates are for friends, not enemies. Arguments only resolve conflict when there’s a shared moral worldview that governs the whole thing. It achieves nothing when one side intentionally lies or engages in a spell casting contest where they try to weaponize your empathy and your worldview against you. All Leftist discourse consists of them either pretending like obvious things aren’t obvious, or trying to morally blackmail you into giving them what they want.

No one can fix South Africa because it’s filled with South Africans. You can only blame Apartheid for so long before the excuse wears off. Japan was firebombed into oblivion and nuked twice during World War II. South Korea was invaded by North Korea, militarily occupied, and had almost every square inch of the country bombed during the Korean War. Look at where Japan and South Korea found themselves 32 years later in 1977 and 1984 respectively. The fact that South Africa has become a de-developing developing country is not something you can pin on Apartheid any longer. The country is a failed state because the people inhabiting it are a failed people who clearly do not know how to build or even maintain anything great.

The replies to this tweet are filled with a combination of horror and endless excuses about how the cost of living in a progressive society is that certain things need to be locked up. But I don’t want to live in a progressive society. I want the people who can’t control themselves and ruin nice things in public to be the ones who are locked up.
