๐Ÿšจ The biggest con in SEO nobody talks about: When an SEO tells you "it's all about branding and great content now" โ€” they just described your business goal and called it an SEO strategy. That's not SEO. That's Marketing 101. ๐ŸŽญ Watch the "new SEO" invention cycle: โ–ช๏ธ "Semantic SEO" = write about related topics (always true) โ–ช๏ธ "Entity SEO" = be a real recognizable thing (always true) โ–ช๏ธ "GEO / AEO" = answer questions well (always true) โ–ช๏ธ "E-E-A-T" = be credible (always true) Same fundamentals. New vocabulary. Fresh invoice. ๐Ÿงพ ๐Ÿ“… "That's OLD SEO from 2008!" Cool. Tell me specifically what changed that makes it wrong. Most can't. They're judging the date โ€” not the logic. ๐Ÿจ Google adding rich results for hotels and jobs? That's Google building its own product features โ€” it changes almost nothing for your business. Consultants wave those announcements around as proof "everything changed." It didn't. ๐ŸŽฏ Real SEO has a mechanism. It explains why something works โ€” not just what to do. "Make great content" has no mechanism. It's advice. It's not SEO. If your SEO can't explain the vehicle โ€” only the destination โ€” you're not buying SEO. You're buying confusion. ๐ŸŒ€At a premium.
