Here’s the truth they don’t like talking about: A former CBP officer was just sentenced to 9 years for helping a Sinaloa Cartel-linked trafficking operation move drugs through an official U.S. port of entry. Jesse Clark Garcia worked the inspection lanes at the Tecate Port of Entry. He gave traffickers his schedules and lane assignments. They used coded messages, including emojis, to know exactly when and where to send the drug-loaded vehicles. Garcia admitted helping move at least 100 kilos of fentanyl, 107 kilos of meth and 270 kilos of cocaine into the United States. His price? At least $10,000 per vehicle. And he wasn’t alone. Another former CBP officer, Diego Bonillo, was sentenced to 15 years for doing essentially the same thing at the Otay Mesa port. Two federal officers. Two official ports of entry. Hundreds of kilos of drugs. Cartel money. They weren’t sneaking across the border. They were working the border. But sure, tell us again how the problem is migrants.

UPDATE: New court records reveal more details in the case against Tyler Boebert, 21 — Rep. Lauren Boebert’s son, arrested Sunday on 3 felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child + 2 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The investigation goes back to 2024 — started with a Safe2Tell report after sexually explicit videos of minors surfaced on Instagram. Investigators say a video from early 2024 shows Tyler, then 18, with an underage 17-year-old girl. Boebert claims her son didn’t know he was being recorded. The girl told investigators he made and sent the video himself. The affidavit names at least 6 other people — including 4 juveniles — who may also be implicated. Their names are redacted. Tyler posted $10K bond, released same day. Court date: Aug. 19. Not his first brush with the law — he pled guilty in 2024 to attempted identity theft from a string of car break-ins.
