Just a year ago we officially unveiled Rebased - a complete overhaul of the IOTA Layer 1. With that upgrade, IOTA has become one of the oldest Layer 1's without any technical debt. Over the past year our team has worked on many improvements to protocol. Today, with Starfish, we have completed the biggest upgrade and improvement to the IOTA mainnet. Really proud of what the team has achieved. The improvements are clearly visible and the Starfish consensus will make IOTA more resilient, scalable and performant. Had a fantastic and productive trip in Korea. There was such a postive energy there, with deep support from the Blue House and large enterprises and financial institutions committed to building on crypto. The pitch of IOTA, with our key focus of establishing a global trade infrastructure with TWIN, is a key differentiator to all the other projects. We are helping crypto move past the speculative bubble towards real world adoption. We have a deep commitment to Korea and will move forward to connect the country onchain and bring forth a new wave of crypto adoption and acceptance. You can expect a lot more news in coming months. Can't wait to come back to Korea soon (and eat more amazing food and try k-beauty products).
