Why can Morocco literally just open a gate and let their citizens flood into Spain? Surely that defeats the whole purpose of a border wall, if the other country can straight up just let people in whenever? Morocco wants Spain to give them 30 million Euros for "border security" and this op is how they get that money. So, theoretically if the choice is pay a 30mil bribe or have people flood through a border, why would Spain not just invest that 30 million in themselves and provide their own border security? Money goes to Spanish jobs, Spanish infrastructure, etc. instead of another country. Because Moroccan soldiers can shoot their own people and nobody gives a shit. If Spanish soldiers shoot Moroccans that would create international issues that cost more than those 30 million they send.
