The Senate voted 89-10 to pass the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, a package that includes three of my bills to help expand access to affordable housing in rural KS communities.
I appreciate the President’s support for this important legislation & his call for its passage in the House.

PASSED: My legislation, the Streamlining Rural Housing Act, was included in the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act that was approved by the Senate this week. The bill would support housing in rural communities by simplifying housing programs and reducing unnecessary bureaucratic barriers. I urge the House to pass this bill and send it to the President so we can continue to strengthen rural America and improve access to affordable housing.
