TxDOT’s proposed 36A South highway (Needville to I-10) runs through the same Fairchilds area where Tesla wants to build Project Crystal Sun, the $10.1B solar factory near FM 762/FM 1994.
Public meetings Aug 18 & 20. Maps are up.
Worth watching if you’re following the factory.
I grew up in the area and live close currently. The current roads are paved farm roads for the most part so this makes sense. Happy seeing our tax dollars going to support US/TX manufacturing and over 9,000 permanent jobs!
