Health update - I've been struggling to sleep more than 4 hours a night since my MRI a week and a half ago. During it, my left hand start to go numb and I struggled to open and close it. It also appeared to be darker than my right later in the day. Not sure if this was because of the dye or numbness? Either way, since the MRI sleep has eluded me. I've been eating well each day, drinking water after I wake up, taking 10 miligrams of creatine, having lower caffeine coffee in the morning with higher quality butter to try and activate the creatine. Using a hydro bed massager for 10-20 minutes a day to loosen up during the days, light exercise like hand grips, light weights for curls, doing 25-50 push ups a day. Eating bananas, apple slices, eggs, sausage, chicken, fish, really all pretty healthy stuff. I have NOT been eating 3 hours before bedtime and am taking a supplemental drink for additional nutrition and to curb hunger. Going on walks and hitting the hot tub and pool with my dad. Walking one last time with the wife a few hours before bed. Have been taking 10 miligrams of Melatonin before bed. Recently stopping this to see if it helps. <--- Feels like I'm doing everything right. Also, just went to the chiropractor for the first time in a year today to see if that could help. 😢 But each morning, including today, I can't help but wake up at 2-3 am, only getting roughly 4 hours of sleep, according to my sleep tracker. <-- Yes, I've even started taking magnesium to try and help with that too. When I wake up it's usually from a nightmare. My upper back and neck are very tight and my stress level (According to the tracker) is very high. I'm really just at a loss for what to do. I'll probably start tracking my blood pressure again to make sure that that's not part of the problem. On Monday I have an appointment with the doctor to do a pre-op for my surgery in the month but I worry it's not going to look very good given my current condition. I have arthritis in my left shoulder and I ruptured a disc years ago and between c3 and c4, have lower back pain too, and have stomach issues (gastroporeasis). So I know that this stuff is working against me and probably a root cause. I just had a loss for what else I can do to get better. Despite all the fun I'm having making a bunch of money and playing around with Grok, while I talk to you all. I might just have to slow down to see if I can figure this out. 😭 Love you all and appreciate any advice you can give me that might help. One thing I would highly encourage all of you, especially who are younger to understand. Is that health is very much wealth. Make sure you understand that before it's too late.
