They let us upgrade without anyone losing money when there's enough support from economic players and hash power. But this isn't that. This is what I consider an evil soft fork. At 55% activation with only a tiny economic majority of nodes and hash power it makes Bitcoin not secure. From everything I'm seeing on X right now the ecosystem is more than ready.
