SpaceX’s board has approved an ambitious 2026 compensation plan for Elon Musk.
Under the proposal, he would receive 200 million super-voting shares if the company reaches a $7.5 trillion valuation and successfully establishes a self-sustaining Mars colony capable of supporting one million residents.
SpaceX has long stated that a permanent, self-sufficient Mars settlement would require about one million people and millions of tons of cargo delivered to the planet.
