The game has been delayed twice from its original spring 2025 plan, first to May 2026 and then to November 2026, to give the team extra time for polish and high quality.
Zelnick also discussed the marketing plan, saying they will run “a very significant broad-based marketing campaign that reflects where audiences and attention are today.” This means far fewer ads on traditional network television. He added that some investors have asked if they need to spend much on marketing because the game already has huge hype.
