Bungie reportedly had around 800 employees after previous layoffs, so a 50% reduction would mean about 400 people losing their jobs. The reported cuts are linked to the end of Destiny 2’s development and problems surrounding Marathon. This has not been confirmed by Bungie or Sony so its just a rumor from now
