Chinese memory maker CXMT is rapidly catching up to Micron in DRAM production, according to a new report.
SemiAnalysis estimates that by the end of 2026, CXMT could reach around 350,000 wafer starts per month, while Micron is expected to be at about 385,000.
If that happens, CXMT will be much closer to matching one of the world's biggest memory chip makers in production capacity.
CXMT is already the world's fourth-largest DRAM maker by wafer capacity and is expected to keep growing over the next few years.
