We enjoyed volunteering at the Lebanon Food Pantry and learning how theyโ€™re feeding dozens of families and connecting older adults with volunteer opportunities. We also talked about ways they can expand and serve more people. Grateful for their work in Warren County. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ’™

Why a $1 million affordable housing investment matters to Avondale families. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

It was great meeting students from Black Boys in Tech, a local nonprofit helping young people explore STEM. We talked about AI, the work theyโ€™re doing, and how weโ€™re fighting for national standards on AI and data centers.

The cruelest thing Trump and Congressional Republicans have done is kick millions off of their healthcare to pay for tax cuts for the super-wealthy.
Back in 2024, we delivered a $1 million federal investment to help fully renovate The Beechwood, affordable housing in Avondale. Today, we celebrated the grand reopening of a place nearly 150 members of this community call home. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’™

Another busy week during the district work period, here's what New Dems were up to!
Students have to be kept safe on college campuses โ€“ but recent reports of sexual violence make it clear that changes are needed. Weโ€™re co-leading bipartisan legislation with @RepRoKhanna, @RepLoisFrankel, and @RepBrianFitz to ensure thereโ€™s more transparency, accountability, and support for students.
