The No Kings Act (SB 747) ends the era of impunity, and it’s the strongest of any state. When any public official — ICE agent or otherwise — violates your rights, you should be able to sue them. Current law makes it all but impossible to sue federal agents when they, for example, murder people or illegally grab people and throw them in gulags. Time to put a stop to it and hold agents accountable when they engage in outrageous behavior.
