U.S. Marines and Argentine Marines scale an ice wall high above Ushuaia, Argentina:
U.S. Marines from the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center joined forces with Argentine Marines from Batallón de Infantería de Marina N° 4 to conquer a sheer ice wall during cold-weather tactical training on Sept. 13, 2026. By mastering vertical ice-climbing and mountain mobility in some of the harshest alpine environments on earth, our forces remain agile, ready, and lethal in any terrain.
