In NW China’s Xinjiang, Tarim Oilfield is nearing completion of its second 1-gigawatt photovoltaic project, with track-laying robots automatically install solar panels.
The project is expected to generate 1.617 billion kWh annually—enough to power approximately 500,000 households.
