Discord is testing new ways to verify users’ ages, offering more options besides face scans and ID uploads. The company is experimenting with age checks through Google Wallet and credit cards for a small number of users. Discord is also testing selfie and ID verification with partner Incode, which processes facial scans directly on the user’s device so biometric data never leaves the phone.
