I’ve been living full-time in my Tesla Model Y for a while now, and every single day I fall in love with the car all over again. As a vehicle, it’s a clear 10 out of 10 for me. The technology, the software, and the level of control through the app are unmatched. No other company comes close. If I had to choose again, I’d pick the Model Y without hesitation. That said, here is some small constructive feedback from someone who actually uses the car as a home: 1. It would be great if we could completely turn off the rear screen, not just lock it. Even when locked, it still generates heat. I often end up putting a towel over the center armrest when I’m working from the car. 2. The climate modes (Camp, Keep, etc.) are excellent features. It would be even better if we could choose between automatic and manual control ourselves, and have the car remember our preference. Being able to adjust the fan directly from the app would also be very useful. 3. In Camp mode, most of us move the seats forward to make space for the mattress (I even created a dedicated “Camp” driver profile for this). However, when Easy Entry is enabled, opening the driver’s door sometimes automatically slides the seat back, and then you have to adjust it again. It would be nice if this could be smarter when the car is in Camp mode. These are just small observations. The car itself is incredible. I’m just hoping Tesla continues to improve the “living in it” experience the same way they’ve perfected the driving experience. Still completely happy with my Tesla and I would not change it for any other brand.
