Today marks a historic moment for @TwiyKyivstar, as it becomes the first mobile operator in Europe to launch @Starlink Direct to Cell satellite technology for its customers in Ukraine.
Now, all Kyivstar customers in Ukraine with 4G smartphones can stay connected through Starlink Direct to Cell, even when the terrestrial network is not available.
First through SMS, and later with voice and data, this technology isn’t just back up technology - it’s a new definition of resilience to keep Ukraine connected.
