Banglalink has received approval from Bangladesh Bank to launch Mukto Pay, its upcoming digital payment service, marking an important milestone in expanding access to digital financial services in Bangladesh. Mukto Pay will offer simple, secure and accessible digital payment solutions for individuals, micro-merchants and small businesses. From money transfers and merchant payments to bill payments and disbursements, Mukto Pay is designed to help bring more people into the formal financial system and participate in the country's digital economy. Targeted for commercial launch in September 2026, Mukto Pay represents another step forward in VEON's strategy to build digital ecosystems that go beyond connectivity, empowering people and businesses with the digital tools they need to participate more fully in economic growth.
