‘Avatar’ creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko say much of the hate toward Korra stems from misogyny and homophobia, pointing out that fans blame her for losing the past lives but don’t hold Aang accountable for the Air Nomads’ extinction: “They hold Korra to a different standard.
