I have just created an Interledger connector that nobody runs, on @EvernodeXRPL. 3 hosts, 3 operators, one Xahau account only the cluster can sign for. Tonight it settled a real payment on Xahau mainnet: 1 XAH over ILP/STREAM, channel redeemed + payout co-signed by the hosts. Hosting: 0.000012 EVR. (name yet to be decided) is a HotPocket smart contract. Three copies run on three Evernode mainnet hosts (three different operators), reach consensus every 3 s, and share one Xahau account with a 2-of-3 SignerList, one signer key per host, none of them mine. 3/ Alice opened a 5 XAH payment channel to that account and streamed a signed 3 XAH claim. Then she paid Bob 1 XAH with the stock ilp-protocol-stream library through the cluster. 24 seconds, one packet, 0.0025 XAH fee. 4/ Settlement, on mainnet, with no human signing anything: the cluster redeemed her channel (multisigned PaymentChannelClaim), paid Bob 0.996499 XAH (multisigned Payment), and when Alice asked to close, it closed the channel and gave her unspent 2 XAH back. 5/ Cost of hosting the cluster for its 4-hour life: 0.000012 EVR. A federal judge dismissed ripple:native influencer Jake Claver’s defamation lawsuit against Zach Rector. The court found no actionably false statements in Rector’s videos. But the case surfaced something bigger... Claver had previously admitted to fabricating emails, wire transfer confirmations and a fake wallet balance of over $1M. If @kraken can list it, then @UpholdInc can list it as-well. Half of the job should already be done imo. I have a hard time to believe that the law say you have to wash trade a coin to get a listing, that makes no sense. Low trading volume has ALWAYS been the standard in crypto. Trading volume comes from trading dynamics, if we require wash trading, then in such way we only allow illegal actors in the industry. This is a fact, and it can not be disputed.
