Time is said to be the greatest commodity - but unlike other “commodities”, it cannot be stored, accumulated or used for another day. This makes it incredibly precious and the way we therefore spend it, requires deep thought and consideration. I have given away far too much of my time over the years, without applying the necessary quality filters to assessing shared values, cultural alignment, reciprocity (not only commercial, but is it worth my time emotionally) and what could I or should I rather be doing with this very precious and limited resource? So my promise to myself, 8 weeks away from my 58th birthday, is to only spend time with those whom I know, like and trust (my same filters in hiring people). Time is energy. We want to charge our batteries through our engagements. To not only deplete them. That in itself is a solid filter #InvestTimeWisely# 🙏
