They always sell it the same way. “It’s for your safety.” “It’s for your convenience.” Until one day you’re living in a pre-crime dystopia. This is why I’ve been talking so much about the surveillance state. The pace is picking up! Digital ID, AI data centres, Smart cities, Facial recognition and now in-car monitoring. Individually they may seem harmless. But together they create a reality we should be genuinely up in arms about.
