印尼国家搜救队周三（7月15日）下午寻获一名中国籍游客遗体，死者在23公尺深的海域被找到。他当天在南部克洛尔岛附近海域浮浅，因遭大浪袭击而溺水。搜救人员在距离事发地点约388公尺处寻获遗体。
另一名中国籍游客在被发现时也失去意识，送抵医院后经医师宣告不治。
