One thing I've realized about most personal finance books is this:
They do a great job teaching you where to invest your money, but very few teach you how to make that money in the first place.
Telling someone who can barely afford food to "buy assets" or "invest" isn't practical.
The journey to wealth has stages:
1. Learn a valuable skill.
2. Increase your income.
3. Save consistently.
4. Invest wisely.
You can't invest money you don't have.
Before teaching people how to grow wealth, we should also teach them how to create it.
