New Delhi: The Congress on Friday attacked the government over the US administration’s actions against Indian IT firms, saying India has several options to respond but Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not act because he is “thoroughly compromised” and under “siege” over what the party calls “GyaneshGate”.
The Opposition party also said that appeasing bullies never pays.
In a post on X, Congress general secretary in-charge of communications Jairam Ramesh said, "That appeasement of bullies never pays is once again proven by the US Govt's actions yesterday targeted directly against Indian IT professionals."
